The following image shows how to connect (1) Fireguard Smoke & Heat Sensor and (1) Corner Mount Limit Switch in Series to a Safety Interlock Disconnect.
Application Notes:
Connect the switches using low-voltage cables to the Safety Interlock Connector.
When a limit switch is depressed, the power will be off.
When the limit switch is activated (the door is open), the Safety Interlock Disconnect outlet will be powered on the attached outlets, allowing appliances like coffee makers or toasters to operate.
When the limit switch is activated (the door is open), the Fire Guard Smoke & Heat Sensor will be active and add another layer of safety.
